The FreerollsDB Editorial Team keeps the site accurate: we verify freeroll listings, test tournament passwords, check poker room information, and update the schedule so the freerolls and codes you see are the ones actually running. We work alongside our poker editor, Rafael Costa, who leads strategy and review content.

Our Editorial Process

Every page on FreerollsDB is built around one question: is this still true today? Freeroll schedules, entry passwords, and ticket offers change constantly, so our work is less about writing once and more about checking, correcting, and re-checking. The editorial team owns that maintenance, while expert analysis and strategy come from our poker editor.

Listings and passwords are pulled together daily, then reviewed before they reach the live schedule. Guides and room information are reviewed on a regular cycle and updated whenever a room changes its offers, rules, or availability.

How We Fact-Check

  1. Freeroll listings are verified daily — our grabber collects the current schedule and passwords from the rooms, and the team reviews the result before it goes live.
  2. Passwords and codes are tested for being live, and re-checked when a room rotates them, because a dead code wastes a player's time.
  3. Room information — buy-ins, formats, availability — is checked against the poker room's own pages, not copied from other sites.
  4. When something cannot be confirmed, we mark it as unverified or remove it rather than guess.

How We Keep Pages Updated

The freeroll schedule and passwords refresh on a daily cycle. Room guides and reference pages are reviewed on a recurring basis and updated immediately whenever a room changes a freeroll, a password, or its terms. Each updated page carries a visible "last updated" signal so you can see how current the information is.

Some content is prepared with editorial tools, but every page is checked, edited and updated by the team before publishing. Listings, passwords and room details are verified by people — tools help us work faster, they do not replace the review.
